In 2017, when young rapper Samuel Medikal Frimpong was nominated in the biggest award scheme in the country, he had all hopes of taking home at least half of the awards for the category he was nominated in.
But things turned out to be worse as the AMG Beyond Kontrol boss lost everything, including the new artist of the year, which he was anticipated to have won very easily.
However, in a new post, the father of On has begged the VGMA board not to repeat what they did to him in 2017, as the awards night will come off this weekend, and Ghana Music shares a flyer asking Medikal fans how many awards he will sweep this weekend.
